Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Valarotech ("we", "us") collects through valarotech.com, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have. It is written to meet our obligations under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

1. What we collect

When you submit our contact form: your name, email address, contact number, company name (optional), the service you are interested in, and your message.

When you browse the site: we do not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies. Like any website, our hosting provider and font provider automatically receive technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, in order to deliver the site.

2. Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss the services you asked about.
• To send you an automatic confirmation that we received your enquiry.
• To keep a record of enquiries so we can follow up and manage our business.

We process this data on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the form. We do not sell your data, and we do not add you to marketing emails unless you separately ask us to.

3. Who processes your data

We use the following service providers to run the site and handle enquiries. They process data only to provide their service to us:

• GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.): hosts this website.
• Google (Google LLC): Google Fonts serves the site's typeface; Google Sheets, Apps Script and Gmail store enquiries and send the confirmation email.
• FormSubmit (formsubmit.co): forwards form submissions to our email inbox.
• Hostinger: hosts our business email.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside India. We use providers with recognised security practices, and we share only what is needed for the purposes above.

4. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and for no more than 24 months after our last contact with you. If you become a client, it is kept for the duration of the engagement and any period required by law.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you;
• correct or update it;
• delete it, or withdraw your consent to us using it.

Email hello@valarotech.com with the subject "Privacy request". We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

6. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to enquiry records is limited to the people who need it to respond. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

7. Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
